Delete your data

How to disconnect a social account or delete your Verb account entirely — and exactly what we remove when you do.

Effective September 17, 2026. Last updated September 17, 2026.

Verb is a product of Fullcourt, LLC. You can remove your data from Verb at any time, and you do not need to contact us to do it. This page explains the three ways to delete data and what each one removes.

Option 1 — Disconnect a single social account

Use this if you want to keep your Verb account but revoke Verb's access to one connected channel, such as a Facebook Page or an Instagram professional account.

  1. Sign in to Verb at app.verb.so.
  2. Go to Channels.
  3. Find the account you want to remove and choose Remove account.
  4. Confirm. The channel disappears immediately.

When you disconnect a channel, we delete:

  • The access tokens we hold for that account, including long-lived Page and Instagram tokens.
  • The channel record — profile name, username, avatar URL, and platform ID.
  • Scheduled posts targeting that channel, along with any media uploaded only for those posts.
  • Stored analytics and engagement metrics for that channel's posts.

We also ask the platform to revoke the token on their side, so Verb's access ends even if a copy of the token existed elsewhere.

Option 2 — Delete your entire Verb account

This removes everything above for every connected channel, plus your Verb profile, workspace, posts, and uploaded media. To request it, emailsupport@verb.so from the address on your Verb account with the subject line"Delete my account".

We verify that the request came from the account holder, delete the data, and email you a confirmation. We complete these requests within 30 days and usually within a few business days.

Option 3 — Remove Verb from Facebook or Instagram

You can also revoke Verb's access from Meta's own settings, which works even if you no longer have access to your Verb account:

  • Facebook: go toSettings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations, find Verb, and choose Remove. Tick "Delete all posts, videos or events that Verb posted on your behalf" if you also want that content removed from your Page.
  • Instagram: Instagram professional accounts are connected through their linked Facebook Page, so removing Verb in the Facebook step above also revokes Instagram access.

Removing Verb this way immediately invalidates the tokens we hold. When Facebook notifies us of the removal, we delete the associated channel data from our systems as described in Option 1.

What we keep, and for how long

After deletion we retain only what we must: billing and tax records required by law, and security or abuse logs held for a limited period. These never include platform data obtained from Facebook, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, or YouTube — that is deleted as described above.

Backups are purged on a rolling 30-day cycle, so a copy of deleted data may persist in an encrypted backup for up to 30 days before it is overwritten.

Questions or a manual request

If any of the steps above do not work for you, or you want confirmation that a deletion completed, emailsupport@verb.so and we will respond within 30 days. Please write from the email address associated with your Verb account so we can verify the request.
